We Have Come Full Cycle...Apples to Riches.

Hello and Good Health...

I had planned on starting each new post with the words from Simon & Garfunkels "Sound of Silence" but decided that would make each entry too lengthy. Besides, I think you get the point without repetition. In the beginning there was Adam, Eve, God, Satan, and an apple tree. Satan took on the form of a serpent and enticed Eve to try a bite from the apple on the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil"...or, so the story goes. This tale of temptation and weakness...inherent goodness and inherent evil...has been around forever it seems...many religions having different versions. But, what is the story really about? Is just a parable explaining what Christians call "the sinful nature of man" or is it something else? Is it a warning about inherent evil in the world? Does it tell us anything about when Satan fell from Heaven? Or, does it simply mean that women are man's downfall? (please...no hate mail).

To tell you the honest truth, I have no idea. I like to believe that God's Word written in the Holy Bible is the spoken Word of God written verbatim as He dictated it to the authors of the many books of the Bible. But, that's just me and my belief. Each of us must determine for ourselves how much, if any, of the Bible we take literally. What I can tell you is that the example of Adam & Eve's downfall has come full cycle in our world today. No...there's no serpent (well, not yet anyways) and you can still eat apples without worrying about being cast out of America or wherever you are. However, we are all being given a chance, once again, to choose between good and evil.

The reality of Eve's choice was to remain as she was...a naked, beautiful, healthy, sin-free, innocent woman who could live an eternity in Eden...or, eat from the Tree of Knowledge and become "like a god" or one with God and attain all the knowledge of good and evil. The temptation proved to be too much for Eve and she succumbed to Satan's forked tongue. Satan gave Jesus the very same choice in the desert when he said he could give all the Kingdoms of the World to Jesus to rule as they were his to give as promised by God. Jesus did not give in to Satan's trickery but rather chose the Kingdom of God...His Father...a Kingdom of Eternity. Today, you and I are facing a whole new plague of trickery from Satan.

He is going to and fro with his many helpers (New Light Leaders, Maitreya, the Ancient Ones, shadowers, the Desert Fathers, etc.) convincing important people...influential people...here on Earth that they can become "one" with God. That, indeed, they are gods because god is in everything and in everyone. It is the exact same ploy Satan used on Eve only it is very cleverly hidden within a message of "Feel Good" faith. But, don't be fooled! It is a faith based in deeds and accomplishments and not in sound Biblical Truth. As a matter of fact, the proponents of this new faith or New Spirituality (as they call it) will tell you that the bible is not to be taken literally. It is not the Word of God but just a story about how to live. I believe that Satan is manipulating many important people today...perhaps even Barrack Obama, Rick Warren, Gorbachev, Leonard Sweet, Oprah Winfrey and many more. Read this excerpt from "Appolyon Rising 2012" by Tom Horn in Part 8, June 1, 2009:

Signs and evidence of such supernatural involvement in the current move towards worldwide totalitarian government have been increasing in political commentary, occult symbolism and numerological ‘coincidences’ over the past decade. As public opinion is engineered toward final acceptance of the international subordination, we would expect to see these ‘mirrors of occult involvement’ continue. Recently there have been so many semiotic messages (visible signs and audible references that communicate subliminal ideas) in the open that it is starting to feel as if the ‘gods’ are mocking us; challenging whether or not we will willingly admit their involvement. This has been exponentially true since the election of US President Barack Hussein Obama, the ‘President of the world’ according to news services around the planet. While the grandiose title “President of the world” granted Obama by euphoric crowds on election night remains to be prophetic, the glorified ideal behind it reflects the global hunger for, and movement toward, the arrival of ‘the one’ who represents the invisible agencies mentioned above and who, for a while, will appear to be the world’s answer man.Consider the unprecedented messianic rhetoric that reporters, politicians, celebrities and even preachers used in celebrating the ‘spiritual nature’ of Obama’s meteoric rise from near obscurity to US President. San Francisco Chronicle columnist Mark Morford characterized it as “a sort of powerful luminosity.” In Morford’s opinion, this was because Obama is “a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to… help usher in a new way of being on the planet…” [12] The dean of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel, Lawrence Carter, went further, comparing Obama to the coming of Jesus Christ: “It is powerful and significant on a spiritual level that there is the emergence of Barack Obama… No one saw him coming, and Christians believe God comes at us from strange angles and places we don’t expect, like Jesus being born in a manger.” [13] Dinesh Sharma, a marketing science consultant with a PhD in Psychology from Harvard appraised Obama likewise: “Many… see in Obama a messiah-like figure, a great soul, and some affectionately call him Mahatma Obama.” [14] It would have been easy to dismiss such commentary as the New Age quiverings of loons had it not been for similar passion on the lips of so many people. The following is a brief list of like expressions from a variety of news sources:

“Barack’s appeal is actually messianic… he… communicates God-like energy… What if God decided to incarnate as men preaching ‘hope and change.’ And what if we… let them slip away, not availing ourselves… to be led by God!” Steve Davis, Journal Gazette [15]

“This is bigger than Kennedy. . . . This is the New Testament! I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often. No, seriously. It’s a dramatic event.” Chris Matthews, MSNBC [16]

“Does it not feel as if some special hand is guiding Obama on his journey, I mean, as he has said, the utter improbability of it all?” Daily Kos [17]

“Obama, to me, must be not just an ordinary human being but indeed an Advanced Soul, come to lead America out of this mess” Lynn Sweet, Chicago Sun Times [18]

“He is not operating on the same plane as ordinary politicians…the agent of transformation in an age of revolution, as a figure uniquely qualified to open the door to the 21st century.” Former US Senator Gary Hart, Huffington Post [19]

“He is not the Word made flesh [Jesus], but the triumph of word over flesh [better than Jesus?]…Obama is, at his best, able to call us back to our highest selves.” Ezra Klein, Prospect [20]

“Obama has the capacity to summon heroic forces from the spiritual depths of ordinary citizens and to unleash therefrom a symphonic chorus of unique creative acts whose common purpose is to tame the soul and alleviate the great challenges facing mankind.” Gerald Campbell, First Things First [21]

“Obama was… blessed and highly favored…I think that… his election… was divinely ordered… I’m a preacher and a pastor; I know that that was God’s plan… I think he is being used for some purpose.” Janny Scott, New York Times [22]

“He won’t just heal our city-states and souls. He won’t just bring the Heavenly Kingdom — dreamt of in both Platonism and Christianity — to earth. He will heal the earth itself.” Micah Tillman, The Free Liberal [23]

“The event itself is so extraordinary that another chapter could be added to the Bible to chronicle its significance.” Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., Politico [24]

Though he tried to keep it subtle himself, Obama encouraged such public perception of him as an ‘anointed’ one whose time had come. Officially produced Obama campaign advertising consistently used such words as ‘faith,’ ‘hope,’ and ‘change.’ Republican nominee John McCain picked up on this during his run for office and put out a cynical video called “The One.” Using some of Obama’s own words against him, the video mocked Obama’s play as a Christ-like figure, showing him in New Hampshire saying, “a light beam will shine through, will light you up, and you will experience an epiphany, and you will suddenly realize that you must go to the polls and vote for Barack!” The video failed to mention that having an “epiphany” actually means the sudden realization or comprehension of an appearance of deity to man. Another part of the video included Obama during his nomination victory speech in St. Paul, Minnesota, saying, “this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.” Anybody that followed the presidential campaign would have picked up the same nuances—angelic children organized to sing about Obama, logos depicting rays of sunlight beaming out from his ‘O’ shaped hand sign (a gesticulation Hitler used as well), books such as Nikki Grimes “Barack Obama: Son of Promise, Child of Hope” (Simon & Schuster), comparisons to Plato’s ‘Philosopher King’ without whom our souls will remain broken, comparisons to the ‘spiritually enlightened’ Mahatma Gandhi, comparisons to the Solar Hero Perseus, comparisons to Jesus Christ and even comparisons to God Himself.

While all this was highly unusual, even unprecedented, it was not surprising. Obama had spent significant time during the campaign distancing himself from conservative Christians, evangelicals and especially the Religious Right (which had held prominent sway over Republicans since Ronald Reagan held office) countering that his faith was more universalist and unconvinced of Bible inerrancy. In a 5-minute video available on YouTube, a pre-election speech by Obama was highly cynical of Bible authority and even derided specific Old and New Testament scriptures. “Whatever we once were,” Obama says on the video, “we’re no longer a Christian nation,” adding, “Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific values… this is going to be difficult for some who believe in the inerrancy of the Bible as many evangelicals do.” [31] Consequently, the conscious effort by Obama to reorient America away from conventional Christianity was widely embraced by people who identified with the man who carried a tiny idol of the Hindu god Hanuman in his pocket—whose blessings he sought in the race to the White House—together with a Madonna and child. For Obama, who grew up in a household where the Bible, the Koran and the Bhagvat Gita sat on a shelf side by side, organized religion was best defined as “closed-mindedness dressed in the garb of piety,” but a useful political tool nonetheless. And so he used it masterfully, and earned a cult following while doing so. By February 2009, Obama had replaced Jesus Christ as America’s No. 1 hero according to a Harris poll, and dedication to his come-one come-all mysticism has continued to spread, with evangelists of the new religion calling for the ‘tired’ faith of our fathers to be replaced with a global new one.

Although it is more difficult to understand the broad appeal of Obama’s New Age philosophy to the many evangelical and Catholic voters who supported him, the phenomenon can be explained to some degree as the result of a changing culture. Over the past 50 years and especially as baby-boomers listened attentively to pastors telling them to focus on human potential and the “god within us all,” eastern philosophies of Monism, Pantheism, Hinduism, and Self Realization grew, providing Americans with an alluring opportunity to throw off the “outdated ideas” of fundamental Christianity and to espouse a more “enlightened” monistic worldview (all is one). Aimed at accomplishing what the builders of the Tower of Babel failed to do (unify the masses of the world under a single religious umbrella), God was viewed as pantheistic and humans were finally understood to be divine members of the whole “that God is.” Pagans argue this principle of inner divinity is older than Christianity, which is true. The gospel according to such New Age concepts—a gospel of “becoming god”— is as old as the fall of man. It began when the serpent said to the woman “ye shall be as gods” (Gen. 3:5), and it will zenith during the reign of the anti-Christian god-king.

If...just if...Satan does have a plan to unite the world in peace with one leader, one government, and one religion, and if...just if...that one person is an instrument of Satan's to eventually force all the people in the world to take his mark, live as he determines, and call him god...what better way to start out than by convincing many of today's most popular political, clerical, authoritarian, and entertainment figures that the true path to happiness and survival (survival being very important) is to accept the idea that we are each gods in our own rights. With no guilt, no fear of death, no sin, and no need for redemption or salvation, what is the downside? I mean, isn't that what everyone wants...a guilt-free life without having to change one eyeota? And, all you have to do to join up is say, "I believe in Oneness...that we are all gods because god is in everything." Or, to paraphrase it: Take a bite of this apple and you will be like God. Hey, I'll even have one of my shadowing demons dictate a book about Quantum life, Comtemplative Prayer, or some other nonsense and make you wealthy beyond your wildest dreams.

You might say to yourself about now, "Well, that's just plain silly. That will never happen...people are too smart to allow that to happen." Well, think again! It is already happening all over the world and Maitreya, the self-proclaimed anti-christ is already buddying up to Gorbachev, Oprah, and too many others to name. He is staying in the shadows for now...but his helpers are possessing more and more people every day and soon it will be too late to stop the tide of change. I can't help but wonder where our church leadership is at this crucial time of salvation for so many people who are being falsely saved by a false christ. Why aren't they ringing the church bells and crying out for the Truth of God? Why are they standing idly by while author after author destroys the Word of God and Bible Scripture? Why aren't they screaming when Rick Warren meddles in political affairs where he has no business being? Why? Why? Why?

As Christians, too many of us have become passively objective and blatantly blinded by the importance our church leaders are putting on "feeling good about ourselves." Don't misunderstand me. There is nothing wrong with that...but it is not enough. We also have to fight Satan at every turn and we cannot do that if we have no idea what he is up to. Has your church talked about Satan and what he is doing in the world today to win the battle of eternal life in the last week? In the last month? In the last year????? Sadly, my church has not spoken about it once in more than a year that I have attended. Salvation is not gained by feeling good about ourselves for what we have done to change our lives or the lives of others. Salvation is not gained by deeds alone! Salvation only comes through a personal relationship with Christ Jesus, the Son of God. And the only way that God is in us is through the indwelling Holy Spirit. God is not inherently in everyone as New Agers would have you believe. They will come at you from every angle with things to make you feel good, things to make your life more functional, things to make you wealthier, things to make you give more, and things to make you think that that is enough. But, the important word in that message is "things"!!!! Apples to Riches...God to Satan...satisfaction to neediness...sin to sinless...nothing to plenty. You choose the side you want to be on...one leads to an eternity of life with God...the other leads to an eternity in the Lake of Fire with Satan.

Everyone seems to think it is simple to tell the difference between good and evil...well, it's not always cut and dry. Satan is no fool...actually, he is one of God's highest ranked angels and it wasn't until his rivalry and his attempt to sabotage God's rule that he lost the favor of Heaven. Now, he rules on Earth...it is his domain...his Kingdom for a time... and he will not give it up without a battle and a very clever plan. To convince millions of people that Contemplative Prayer, mysticism, idol worship, yoga, incense, shadowing, and other mystical and occult practices are not only appropriate, but a logical and acceptable path to a new found freedom and understanding of god's nature is not only clever, it is diabolical. By the time anyone raises an alarm, billions of people will already find themselves under the influence of demons who will be shadowing their every thought and action. Satan will use those who are most influential to change the very intrastructure of the world's governing mechanism so that one person will be in charge...one government, one ruler, one religion. Then, it will be too late.

In The Beginning...

In the beginning, God set up a few rules...nothing difficult...just guidelines to preserve the Garden of Eden and humankinds virtue. However, Satan had a plan of his own and he used man's weakness to exploit his intentions. This weakness was the very same weakness that got him thrown out of heaven...a desire to be God-like. It appears that the Devil became the prince of this world when he led man (Adam and Eve) to sins against God and thus brought the ruler of earth under his domination (Genesis 1:26:3:1-6; John 12:31; Colossians 1:13; Acts 26:18). Thus was the beginning of man's long ordeal with original sin.

It wasn't until the Son of God, Jesus Christ, came to earth and died on the cross for the propitiation of our sins that we realized a way out of sin...or, should I say...a way in...to heaven. "That through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil." (Hebrews 2:18) We are given the ability to overcome our sinful nature by accepting that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, is our Savior, and is the only means by which we can enter into Heaven or have a conversation with The Father. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6) "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." (John 11:25) "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." (1 Timothy 2:5–6) "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of
the whole world." (1 John 2:2)

Now we have a new standard to live and die by and remember, the scriptures are the inerrant and inspired word of God that have withstood thousands of years of debate and distortion. The numbers and the fact they all begin with the letter "S" are to make it easier to read and remember. You can rest your eternal soul, spirit, and body upon the truth revealed in the scriptures." (1) Son of God

The fundamental doctrines of Christ begin with the truth of the trinity or one God in three persons, Father, Word (Son), and Holy Spirit. The Jewish prophet, Isaiah, saw the person of the Son and said unto a rebellious Israel..."For unto us a child is born (in Bethlehem), unto us a Son is given (in Jerusalem), and the government shall be upon his shoulder" (on Earth during the millennial kingdom)..., Isaiah 9:6. Daniel spoke of the same Son and his mission when he said the Messiah would be "cut off" or given for the people of Israel, Daniel 9:26.

The apostle John's very first words given to him by the Holy Spirit, as he described this Son who the small remnant of Israel was looking for, were..."In the beginning was the Word (Son), and the Word (Son) was with God (Father), and the Word (Son) was God. The same was in the beginning with God (Father)...and the Word (Son) was made flesh, and dwelt among us", John 1:1-2,14. When the Word or Son came to this Earth through the virgin birth of Mary, God and man were forever linked in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. As Jesus, the eternal Word and Son, said to the Father..."a body thou hast prepared me", Hebrews 10:5. God the Word (Son) was now wearing the fleshly body of a man, yet without sin as all others possessed from the fall of Adam and Eve.

Many who read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John become confused by false teachers who deny that Jesus was God, the second member of the eternal Godhead. They will cut and paste the words of Jesus out of context to prove their point. When you read the words of Jesus written in the four gospels he seems to be talking to his followers one time as the Son of Man, like when he says..."the Father is greater than I". These false teachers will use this verse to say Jesus was only a man. But they quickly forget that another time Jesus says.."before Abraham was, I am", which identifies the Word (Son) of God inside the body of the Lord doing the speaking, for Jesus the man had not yet been born when Abraham lived. Remember, the Lord Jesus was both a man and God and could speak from either position or nature. We must know also that the triune Godhead had planned before the worlds were created for the Word to also become the Son, which John so clearly alluded to in his gospel account.

(2) Satan's Rebellion

The next thing we must understand is the fall of Lucifer, who was created as one of God's archangels, Isaiah 14:12-14. He was created with a pure and perfect heart, just as Adam and Eve much later in time. Both angels and men were created to live forever like their creator. God created multiple millions, some say billions, of other angels that administered the Kingdom of God that flourished throughout the universe. Everything was filled with love, light, and life that worshipped the triune Godhead. According to Ezekiel's account of Lucifer's rebellion, he was perfect in his ways until the day sin was found in him. For pride filled his heart as he desired to not only be a creation of God, but attain the place and position of being God himself, Ezekiel 28:11-19. He managed to convince one-third of all the angels to join him in this attempt to be like God, Revelation 12:3-4. He now became known as Satan.

Luke records the Lord Jesus himself declaring how he was there when God banished Lucifer and his rebellious friends from Heaven..."I beheld Satan as lightning fall from Heaven", Luke 10:18. That statement confirms the truth that Jesus was both the eternal God and a man in perfect flesh when he spoke those words to his disciples. The light and life that filled the universe through the hearts of holy angels was now cursed with the darkness by the fall of Lucifer and his friends The apostle John plots the course of this vital and foundational teaching of Lucifer/Satan's fall in the Revelation with the glorious and ultimate political-religious defeat of Satan and the fallen angels.

(3) Sin Nature

When Adam and Eve fell into rebellion against God through the crafty lies of Satan, all future generations were now under a curse. Satan now had dominion over humanity, and ultimately the various nations or kingdoms that would arise from a divided world after the flood of Noah's day, including America. Satan even offered the nations to Jesus if he would worship him as God, Luke 4:5-8.

We all inherited the sin nature of Adam and Eve which consists of many elements and characteristics, all flowing from the self-exalting pride of this life (militant national patriotism a manifestation), and the love of self and money, 1 John 2:16. It consumes and controls our entire tri-part being comprised of body, soul, and spirit. This nature of pride within us all was the root cause of Esau's (Edomites) hatred toward Israel just as the Old Testament prophet Obadiah declared..."the pride of your heart (spirit) has deceived you", Obadiah 3. The Islamic neighbors of Israel today are no different than their Edomite ancestors, as they are totally consumed by their desire to destroy the Jewish people.

(4) Sacrifice of Blood

According to the scriptures, this evil sin nature can only be removed by the blood sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. This removal is likened unto the circumcision of a male child, but this one is of our heart or spirit wherein dwells the control room of our entire being. Hebrews 9:22 says it plainly..."without shedding of blood is no remission (of sin)," It is that simple my friends We have no power or ability within ourselves to remove the dominance this nature has over our entire being. All we can do is come to the bloody cross of Israel's Messiah. This sacrificial death on the cross to pay for our sins, to offer us mercy and forgiveness is why he came from Heaven in the first place. How can anyone not love him and unashamedly proclaim his name for what he did?

The scriptures teach that Jesus came once to die in the end of the ages, appearing unto man to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself, Hebrews 9:26. But properly understanding the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ must include the truth of his glorious bodily resurrection. As Paul taught the Corinthians, if Jesus did not rise bodily from the dead then he is not our Savior and Lord, and we are yet in our sins, 1 Corinthian 15. This resurrection truth must be included with the cross to be the cornerstone of our faith. They are inseparable.

The next two foundational doctrines describe the part we must play in order to be freed from the sin nature within us, but as I just said, the sacrificial death and glorious bodily resurrection of our Lord which our brothers, Peter, James, and John, witnessed first hand and so testified before a doubting world, remains the heart and soul of the gospel message.

(5) Sorrow

This might shock some of you, but it is not enough to just give mental assent to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The fallen angels and their leader, Satan, do this every day. They know this all happened, they saw it with their very own eyes, they were there. You must take this knowledge and apply it to your own life. His death is your death and his resurrection is your resurrection and freedom from the sin nature, like Paul taught in Romans 6-8. This application of Godly knowledge then becomes wisdom, and wisdom changes our lives. But you might be asking, what does it mean...his death is my death? Great question!

First of all, we must humbly confess from our hearts that we are indeed sinners before a holy and majestic God, and rightfully deserve to be judged and sent to an eternal Hell in the Lake of Fire. At the same time we must do what Paul taught the Corinthians, when he told them Godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, 2 Corinthians 7:10. This sorrow can only come when we realize that all of our sins are not just against other people, but against God. Our sins are the very nails that punctured the skin of the Son of God when evil men crucified him over two-thousand years ago. I was one of those evil men and still am in my carnal flesh! We were all there in a spiritual sense, my friends, and all of us stand guilty before him. After thirty plus years of knowing this fundamental truth about myself and the bloody cross of our Savior, I continue to stand in awe of the incredible love the Son of God has toward all men, in that while we were yet sinners and his enemies, he died for us.

Sorrow of a Godly kind instinctively produces repentance and must be included when placing or applying our God-given faith upon the person of Jesus Christ and his teachings. Then his death becomes the death of your old life as a practicing sinner. For the Lord Jesus teaches us that if we repent and put our trust and faith in him he will freely give us "the gift" that brings salvation. Regrettably, many in Christendom today want a free gift of salvation "only" to escape being thrown into the Lake of Fire, when the truth is our Lord gives this free gift to save us from our sin nature and the fallen angels who stir it up to do their bidding.

Many are traveling upon a dark and wide religious road leading to an eternal Hell, while at the same time thinking they have Jesus as Savior, when he is not the Lord of their lives. I was once one of them before becoming an atheist after my experiences in the Vietnam war. I was a believer in name only, even having the name "Protestant" engraved on my Army dog tags. Like all false believers, I had no desire to understand the spiritual components of my sin nature which poured out of me naturally, let alone be free from its power. In fact, I didn't think for a second I was a false believer, and would look down on anyone who would even suggest such a thing. After all, I was serving God and country, just like other Christian Americans have since 1776.

So just what is this free gift that we "receive by faith" when Godly sorrow has worked repentance within our hearts?

(6) Salvation

Salvation is not a reality in our lives unless we believe the Word of God when he says the Holy Spirit will enter into our bodies instantly upon our true Godly repentance and expression of faith in the bloody cross and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. As Peter cried out to his Jewish audience on the Day of Pentecost..."Therefore, let all of the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom "ye have crucified", both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were "pricked" in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit", Acts 2:36-38. Do you see how this Jewish audience was told they killed the Messiah? How did they respond when their hearts were pricked or convicted by the Holy Spirit using the mouth and words of Peter?

You can clearly see now that the ultimate free gift of God is not just escaping the Lake of Fire, but receiving the Holy Spirit, the third member of the triune Godhead. He is a person, God himself, who enters into our sinful bodies, washes away the sin nature controlling our heart or spirit, and recreates a new heart now surrounded by the Holy Spirit. Our bodies and old minds have yet to be saved and contain the remnants of the sin nature that tempt us, but the dominant power of sin was located in our spirit or heart. This evil nature has been crucified on the cross and our new heart lives in the love, life, and teachings of Jesus Christ while our minds are renewed daily waiting for the final salvation or glorification of our sinful bodies on the day of resurrection. This what Paul meant when he cried out..."Christ in you the hope of glory", Colossians 1:20-29

But false Christian teachers inspired by fallen angels have always twisted or redefined this indwelling miracle in order to keep men trapped in the self-exaltation of themselves (self-love, self-image, self-esteem) that comes naturally from the religious pride of our sin nature. Men like Robert Schuller, Bennie Hinn, Joel Osteen, and their friends on television, have redefined the elements of the sin nature and are trumpeting "another" Holy Spirit that is deceiving millions in Christendom. There is only one true Holy Spirit and Paul said to the Christians in Rome if any man has not this Spirit of Christ, he is not yet saved and part of the Body of Christ, Romans 8:9.

The fallen angels that guide false teachers, like Schuller, hate the truth of the bloody cross and will do anything they can to keep men from the power of the cross that produces Godly sorrow and true repentance. Moreover, these unseen haters of God do not want anyone to understand the spiritual components of our sin nature, and the power of the Lord's blood to wash it away.

Know this my friends, when a man has the true Spirit of God within him he will not contradict or re-interpret these fundamental teachings of Jesus Christ. Neither will the true Spirit condone any notion that in any way suggests we can have Jesus as our Savior, but not the Lord of our daily lives. Like I said, there are many false Christians who want only to escape Hell, but not the sin that sends us there. Remember this, he will not be our Savior from Hell if we have no desire for him to be our Lord to give us his power to walk in his commandments no matter what the cost. This indwelling of God within us is the power that also brings a great love for all people, including the worst of our enemies, whereby we can then obey the two greatest commandments of God, loving him and our neighbors. All other commandments hang upon these two, just as Jesus said.

Paul wrote to his friend, Titus, instructing him to remind the followers of Jesus, now being seduced by false Christian teachers, that we were saved not by offering our own good works unto God that he might then forgive us. Men who teach these things only keep men in the carnal pleasures of their sin nature, while convincing their followers they have the innate ability within themselves to please God by good deeds or works. Paul was astonished at how these false teachers would twist the Word of God around trying to convince people they needed to do good works in themselves before God would forgive and save them. He carefully told Titus..."Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and the renewing of the Holy Spirit", Titus 3:5. Both Peter and Paul understood and taught this fundamental teaching of regeneration or being born again in one's heart, and the work of the Holy Spirit in renewing our minds with the teachings of Jesus.

(7) Second Coming

The cross and resurrection are inseparable teachings, as I wrote earlier. There is one more doctrine that must be connected to them in order to have complete understanding of the gospel message. And that is the doctrine of the physical and pre-millennial second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to establish his rule and reign from Jerusalem over the nations for one-thousand years, Revelation 19-20. If any of these three teachings are redefined or omitted from the proclamation of the gospel, confusion will rule in the hearts of those who profess to be Christians, the followers of Jesus Christ. If this confusion or distortion is not corrected the gospel proclaimed by these deceived brethren then becomes as Paul said to the Corinthians and Galatians, "another" gospel preaching "another" Jesus.

Do you now believe that he is alive, risen from the dead, and your sin nature has been washed away by his blood? If you do, then where is he now and is he coming back as he promised his amazed followers who watched him as he ascended into the heavens, leaving them with his promise to someday return in like manner, Acts 1:9-11? Our Lord will return to and for his faithful followers in his glorious risen body before he unleashes his militant judgment upon the nations for rejecting him and his message. These are the Christians who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and walking in his power to continue in the faith concerning these seven pillars of sound doctrine.

My "Bio" used to be Degradable.

I won't go into great detail about my past. If you want to know my past better, go to my homepage and read my "Life's Hardships" and "Testimonials" pages. Suffice to say that I engaged in every sort of degradation known to man and then some. I am not proud..nor am I ashamed of my past...I am over it! In 1996, I gave up my sins and was Born Again. I wish I could say that I immediately quit drugs, pornography, drinking, smoking, and cussing...but it didn't happen like that at all. It has taken a great deal of work, many lessons from Jesus, and a ton of patience to become who I am today.

There were some very memorable experiences along the way such as when I was given the miracle of being totally released from nicotine. I'm not going to sit here and say God spoke to me...and I'm not going to say He did not speak to me. I will say that early Sunday morning, January 14, 2001, my wife, Denise, and I were watching the El Salvador Earthquake on Saturday night's late news when suddenly, like thunder & lightening, I knew I would never have to smoke again. I told Denise immediately and she laughed...knowing my track record...and wished me luck. I had quit once for eight years, always had cravings the entire time, and started again...then I quit for three years two different times and started again each time. After that third time, I told Jesus I would never be able to do it again without His help and He should let me know when I could quit. I have not had as much as a single desire to smoke since that night...it's as if I had never smoked a day in my life. Now, I don't know about you, but in my book...that's a miracle!

At the other end of the pendulum, I asked Jesus for patience. I was tired of being in pain constantly day in and day out, my family was in disarray, my pets would not even listen to me. I yelled constantly and was on the verge of full-fledged road rage. I yelled at everyone and no one would come to our home for fear of one of my unpredictable tirades. Antidepressants and other medications did not help. So, I prayed...and I prayed...and I prayed some more for patience. However, the more I prayed...the worse my problem seemed to get. It was as if the whole world was out to make me mad. From daybreak to dusk, it was just one thing after another until I was nearly in tears. Finally, I asked my very close friend, confidant, and bible encyclopedia freak, Gary, for advice. After telling him my predicament, he started laughing! I said, "What? You think it's funny I'm loosing my freakin' mind?" He laughed again and said, "No Hip. Can't you see what's happening? You asked for patience...now the good Lord Jesus is putting you in situation after situation that requires you to learn how to be patient. It's a lesson bonehead!"

Man...I have to tell you that I nearly fell off the chair I was so dumbfounded. It was so clear it was ridiculous...but, without the help of a fellow Christian, I could not see the sun for the clouds. So you ask...so what? Well, my point is simple. Jesus, God, The Holy Spirit...they all work together once you are Born Again to make you into a better Christian. Sometimes they give miracles...rarely. Most times, they give lessons. We can choose to fight against their lessons tooth and claw with the logic that we can do it on our own...or, we can choose to learn the lesson and move on. I am a thousand times more patient today than I was a year ago and I still do not smoke or chew over eight years later. And the friend thing...well, that is in the bible too. In plain English it says; Two heads are better than one when it comes to discerning the Will of God. We are meant to fellowship with others and we are not supposed to rely on our own will or our solitary understanding.

Jesus wants to have a "Daily" relationship with you. He wants to be a part of your every waking moment and to be confided in and relied upon for all matters. It's those little, dark secrets that we have stored on shelves in the corners of our minds that He wants to discuss thoroughly. Once they are brought into the light, forgiveness and forgetfulness are only a blink away. However, there are two sides to every coin and a truth behind every lie. Those same little secrets, which you are so reluctant to let go of, can be used by Satan as a stronghold and He will make them fester and grow until they come out in all different forms of torture...drinking, drugs, pornography, workaholic, anger, depression, fear, hate, envy...hey, His list of weapons go on and on. The worst of which is "Discouragement." Satan uses discouragement every time you pray. He sits on your shoulder and yells in your ear, "There is NO GOD! Praying is a waste of time...and it doesn't work!" Or maybe He is at your track meet telling you there is no way you are going to outrun that tall lanky kid from Tenbucktwo. All our adversary needs is a small foothold to make it grow. We need to put on the Full Armor Of God.

In that light, I bring you this blog. I have been called by our Lord to provide as much information on the workings and whereabouts of our adversary as is humanly possible. Starting with my next entry, I will be bringing you details involving both sides of the battlefield and from both camps playbooks. What can you do today you might ask? Well, ask your pastor what is being done in your church to keep our adversary at bay and what their attack plan involves. That is another part of being a Christian...a HUGE part...fighting the adversary. He who fights the Good Fight, fights for what's right!

Bad hair day...!

This is a picture of our dog, Dusty. She is having a bad hair day after showering. She is a combination of Miniature Rat Terrier and Miniature Schnauzer. The breed is tentatively called "Schnerrier" but we like "Rhauzer" better. It suits her personality to a tee as she is in high gear from dawn till dusk every single day. She gives 110% all the time!

Dusty is undoubtedly our most treasured blessing as a pet and family member. She is the most loyal and non-judgmental dog we have had the pleasure to own...and we have owned a few in our 60 years of pets. The reason I started this blog out with a picture of Dusty is simple: Dog is God spelled backwards...and, dogs are man's best friend for a very good reason. They exemplify the behavior we are supposed to display towards our fellow human beings on this planet, in this universe, during our lifetimes. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. We can learn a great deal from dogs. They are loyal, trustworthy, obedient, selfless, eager to please, non-judgmental, forgiving to a fault, and they give unconditional love to their masters. Can you say the same?

Even dogs that have been beaten, abused, mistreated, starved, and left to die want only to please someone and have someone to love. They are more than eager to forgive the sins of their masters (or abusers) in return for something very simple...FAITH. Faith that you will feed them, talk to them, love them, always come home to them, and allow them to show you how much they can give in return. Just like God and Jesus Christ.

The Holy Bible (I prefer the King James Version as it is the closest English translation to the original Hebrew there is available with the least amount of humanizing, which I will explain later) is God's Word put to writing. God engaged a goodly number of men to whom he dictated His Holy Scripture...The Truth...over a long period of time. The Words He had them write were not meant to be re-invented by man and the Bible was not meant to be changed by interpretation of man to make it easier to read or obey. It is a guide to entering heaven...a map of sorts...it exemplifies a standard of life that each person should find to be desirable.

In the days, weeks and months to come, I hope to spark an interest in my reader's hearts to discover for themselves what they believe to be the truth. The lines are being drawn between good and evil, God and Satan, believer and...believer? Yes...between believers. There is a division among believers that is stealing the souls of millions of Christians and taking them to the Dark Side (hell, Satan, The Adversary, Legion, Maitreya, or whatever you prefer). This movement is as old as religion itself but has come lately with a renewed strength and a new handle...THE NEW SPIRITUALITY. The very name gives it away as a clearly Satanic belief. The New Testament is quite clear about staying far away from spiritualists, ghost whisperers, gypsies, fortune-tellers, prophets, and the like. It says many will come in the name of Jesus saying this or telling you to believe in that...but, to pay them no heed. For there is only one Jesus Christ and the time of His coming will not be foretold. Only the warning signs, told of in the bible, will be known and one of them is the warning about false prophets and the Antichrist.

Many best sellers are rolling off the presses today about how to change your life, discover your "Purpose", realize the "Force", know about "Oneness", find out "The Secret", and how to find the truth about universal life and everlasting peace led by the True Christ, Maitreya. Oprah Winfrey is helping them along with her show and endorsements. Holy crap man...if Oprah says it's good...well, it just has to be!!! Maitreya, whom I will discuss in detail later, claims to be the true Christ and that Jesus was just a disciple of his. He may indeed be the true Antichrist! He is here already and he has a huge following. The Adversary has brought his lies into Christianity and he has done it by means of books, schools/teachers, hospitals/doctors/nurses, government, through our children (YES!), and even our clergy. He has found the back door to our beliefs and is poisoning millions of minds with his venomous lies by circumventing the very structures we use in every day life. His story is about making people "FEEL GOOD" inside and out. After all, if you feel good...how can it be bad?

In the pages to come, I hope to show each of you that there are two sides to every coin and a truth behind every lie. I will introduce you to authors who have diagnosed these books that are so popular, where they got their information, to whom they give their allegiance, and what their true goals incorporate. I will introduce you to information that will show you who is orchestrating the whole movement and why. I will give you grassroots explanations about how this all got started...and why. And, last but not least by far, I will show you what is truly in store for the poor souls that find themselves enchanted by this sorcery and do not realize the Truth before the End of Times. We are in a battle...the lines have been drawn. Sides are being chosen...whether you realize it or not! Souls are at stake...literally!!

But, be of good cheer. The Light is just ahead...the beacon is being lit as I write. If you find a shred of truth in my writing, there is still hope. Be very, very careful what you read and take to heart in these last days for a "little leaven leaveneth the whole loaf." In other words, just a small untruth dispels all that is said to be the truth. There is no quarter in the bible...it is The Truth...the whole Truth...and nothing but the Truth....so help me God. Read on in good faith!
